Lengths are measured in a kilometre,metre,centimetre and millimetre.Millimetre, centimetre and metre are used to measure smaller lengths whereas kilometre is used to measure a longer length. For example - distance between your school and home will be measured in kilometre.
4)How can you define the capacity of an object ?
Capacity is the amount that something can hold.The standard unit to measure capacity is litre. We use millilitre and litre to measure small capacity whereas kilolitre for larger capacities.
5) Differentiate between millilitre and kilolitre
Millilitre is used to measure smaller capacity. 1000 millilitre equals 1 litre whereas Kilolitre is used to measure large quantities. 1 kilolitre equals 1000 litre.
6)How can we measure time ?
We can measure time using a watch. It is measured in seconds, minutes and hours.
